Meralyss Selthaya

Appearance

Meralyss is about 5' tall and has dark blue skin and large webbed ears. Her long sea green hair is tied up in a high ponytail with a gold tiara, and two strands curl around her ears.

Her outfit consists of a skin-tight cyan turtleneck, long black fingerless gloves, and a bright green dress with black shorts underneath. There is silver and gold armor on her chest, forearms, hips, and boots, with swirls and seashell designs throughout. She wears a simple necklace with a large silver ring on it.

 

Personality

Meralyss is quite awkward when conversing with others.

Background

Meralyss is the princess of the Selthaya family, one of Venithos' two ruling families, the other being the Falthras. She is not the heir, however. That title belongs to her brother. He is the one who handles the most important affairs, while she is left with tasks deemed less so.

 

Order of the Divine

Meralyss recognized the party as the ones who defeated the water elemental in Nok Harbor and immediately asked for their help with the chaos unfolding in all of Venithos, needing someone who was not allied with the Falthras. She takes them through a secret teleportation system underground and wishes them luck in neutralizing the wild magic in the tail island, the party's task to prove themselves to her family.

Goal

Meralyss wishes to complete the task her family assigned to her, which is to mitigate the wild magic in western Venithos as well as the elementals that started appearing in cities. She hired the party to help accomplish this, hoping their skills in defeating a water elemental prove them capable.
